KHEYRE DEVELOPMENT AND REHABILITATION ORGANIZATION which abbreviated as (KEDRO) is local humanitarian, non­governmental non-political and non-profit seeking organization that engage improvement of livelihoods through promotion of social services, Public Health, Water & Sanitation, Emergency responses, Environment, Human rights, Income generation program and HIV/AIDS prevention awareness, KEDRO strives to prevent injustice practices and enhances peace and reconciliation process among Somali communities.

KEDRO was found in July, 1991 by a group of Somali intellectuals. Its establishment carne a time when Somali communities were under chaotic and anarchy situation and wide spread starvation in south central particularly. KEDRO has good experience and capacity related community development activities and since its establishment, KEDRO implemented different projects in Somalia, and particularly most of the projects were implemented in Somalia - Mogadishu, L /Shabelle, M/Shabelle, M & L Jubbas and Bay & Bakol regions and Galgudud regions of Somalia.

We believe children spend enough time in large schooling institutions from the age of 5 to at least 15yrs. Therefore through the early and significant growing stages of life we feel children should be in a more intimate homely environment. Kedro creek org. Care is licensed for 340 children. Our focus is to cater for the needs of infants, toddlers and pres-schooler's to develop their intellectual, emotional and social skills for future years.

The centre is a 1991's home that was fully renovated at the end of 2009, with lovely outdoor play area secluded by native trees.

We have planed to recruit a highly experienced and qualified staff with great teacher to children ratios.
